Here's a photo portrait of an Afghan teenage son who lives in Finland that has been sent as a present to his mom in Afghanistan. The social worker who takes care of him contacted me and we met recently at my studio. So this is basically a present from mom to mom. It was a pretty sweet experience and thinking of his mom getting her son's photo printed on a nice Hahnemühle paper sounds even sweeter. I wish I could have seen her face upon opening the envelope :)
Recently I got the chance to test the Canon PowerShot G1X Mark III camera with the underwater case during a trip to Tenerife with family and friends. Here are my impressions!
Suomi-neito on nyt aikuinen rouva. The Finnish maiden is now a grown-up lady. She’s older; richer; has developed a strong taste and never the less… She’s very, very independent.

Teija and Mikko got married in New Year's eve. We've got some pretty neat photos between the black and white wedding dress and the stylish spaces at Clarion Hotel in Vantaa.
Teppo ja Suvi got married yesterday, yay! Here are a few of the wedding photos we took at the centre of Helsinki.
I recognise to be just a beginner making videos but he's a stop motion that me and Juha from RePack have created together. They wanted to show on an animation the concept of the packaging. One thing took to another and it took a life of it's own.
Comedy Wildlife Photography awards are here. According to them they are the world’s best and funniest photography competition. It's all about capturing the moment. It's about the photographer's ass sitting on a rock, lying on the floor, stepping into a pond in either too hot, too cold weather and being rewarded by nature for the patience. It's cute and it's wild.
Yesterday we had this huge event at Finlandia Hall in Helsinki to celebrate Finland's 100th independence day! #Mippi100
